Standard Scope of Works

We will carry out a site survey to determine that the conservatory quoted will fit your desired location and that there are no obstructions etc to hinder the conservatory installation.

Determine the preferred position for the door and windows.

The standard scope of works assumes that the conservatory position is level and that there are no drains or other obstacles within the conservatory position.
The detailed site survey will highlight any such additional works required and any additional cost will be confirmed within the revised quotation,specification and order confirmation.

Raise existing patio and excavate for foundation.

Construct standard strip foundation up to a depth of 1000mm from house DPC.

Lay 1 course of suitable engineering bricks along with DPC at current house Dpc level.

Construct sub floor with jablite floor insulation, 1000 gauge poly DPM.

Float finish 100mm concrete floor slab level with existing house floor.

Facing brick work to external and internal dwarf walls to the required height. Mortar mix to be either red or yellow building sand to match the house as closely as is possible.(Colour of sand required will be determined during the survey stage).

Tie all brickwork to house wall with suitable vertical abutment ties.

Deliver conservatory to site on a pre arranged mutually convenient date.

Carry out full installation of conservatory to completed baseworks.

All waste material will be placed in to the skips provided by yourselves.

Not included

The customer will be required to source and provide the facing bricks for the dwarf wall / walls ( the quantity will be determined at the time of survey )

The customer will be required to supply a skip or skips for the removal of excavated spoil and waste.

Electrical or plumbing works are excluded from our scope of works.

Floor tiling and / or other floor finishes are excluded from our scope of works.
