Conservatory Showroom Website Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. The contract between us

  1. NP National Products Limited trading as Conservatory Showroom is registered in England under company number 03091169 with its registered office at Unit 12 Lancaster Park, Newborough Road, Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, DE13 9PD.
  2. Nothing in these conditions shall affect the statutory rights of any consumer or shall limit any rights that may not be excluded by law.

2. Orders

  1. We will send you an email to acknowledge receipt of any order you place through our website or via mail. This does not constitute our acceptance of your order. Once the appropriate payment required as detailed in your quotation confirmation has been received by us, or confirmation of any appropriate credit arrangement has been received from the relevant third party, we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your order. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us.
  2. If there are any problems with your order, you will be contacted by a member of the customer services team.
  3. Important Customer Requirements
    a) The customer is required to supply a skip/skips as near as is practically possible to the site of installation for the evacuation of waste.
    b) The customer is required to supply facing bricks as near as is practically possible to the site of installation for the building of dwarf walls (where applicable). The quantity required will be advised after site survey.

3. Product Specifications

We have made every effort to display on the website as accurately as possible the colours, designs and other features of our products. However, the goods may differ slightly from the images shown.

4. Price and Payment

  1. The price of the goods that you order will be the price confirmed after site survey posted to you on the website at the date the order is received and will include VAT, foundations and base work including dwarf walls (where applicable), delivery and fitting to our standard scope of works within the mainland UK.
  2. Payments must be made by either: personal cheque, credit or debit card (please see the relevant part of the website for a list of those payment cards accepted), via PayPal, or by such other credit arrangement as may be offered by third parties and advertised on the website from time to time (subject always to the relevant terms of any such credit arrangements).
  3. We will not deliver the goods until we have received confirmation of payment or authorisation of any credit arrangement (as may apply).
  4. You may be subject to validation checks and/or third party authorisations depending on your method of payment.

5. Delivery and Installation.

  1. Base work, delivery and installation will be at the address provided by you and restricted to mainland United Kingdom (unless we agree otherwise with you).
  2. We aim to complete installation within 28 days from when your order is received and accepted by us. If we cannot deliver and install within this time, we will inform you in advance and agree with you with an alternative date for delivery.
  3. All deliveries and installations must be signed for by the customer. If the customer or their agreed representative is not present at the arranged date of delivery and installation ( unless otherwise agreed by us) the goods will be returned to us and re-delivery/installation will not be made until additional delivery/installation team costs have been paid in full
  4. You will be required to be present at the time of completion to view the installation and sign a satisfaction note which will validate your guarantee.

6. Your right to cancel

  1. You may cancel your contract with us for the goods at any stage before, and up to,7 days after you have placed your order with us. To do this, you must notify us in writing by sending an email to customerservices@conservatoryshowroom.com or in writing to the above address with a proof of date of posting.
  2. Provided you have properly notified us that you are cancelling your contract with us, within the 7 day cancellation period, we will refund (or re-credit your account) with the full value of the payment made.

7. Liability and guarantee

  1. The conservatory will be delivered by the installation team and on completion of the installation you will be required to sign a satisfaction note. If there are defects with the conservatory they should be brought to the attention of the installation team and noted in writing on the satisfaction note paperwork. Conservatory Showroom will not be liable for any defects reported after a satisfaction has been signed.
  2. We will replace any goods that are found to be damaged or defective by our installation team at the time of installation and that have been reported in writing on the satisfaction note at the time of installation completion.
  3. We guarantee to repair or replace (as we decide) any faulty goods (in materials or workmanship) within 10 years ( sealants and flashings 2 years only)from the date of delivery/installation, as long as you have paid in full and signed a satisfaction note (on delivery) for the goods. If these goods are found not to be defective or damaged, then we have the right to charge you for any costs we may have incurred.
  4. The guarantee will no longer apply if:
    a) any person we have not authorised has carried out repairs or alterations to the goods; or
    b) if the goods have been damaged by accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, scratched dented or chipped or failure to follow instructions and general good practice in the use and maintenance of the goods. Damage caused by fair wear and tear will not be covered by this policy.
    c) This guarantee does not cover any items which may be covered by a normal household insurance policy.

8. Events beyond our control

We shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver the goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of transport, systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion, acts of god or acts of terrorism or accident.

9. Privacy

You acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms of our privacy policy.

10. Entire Agreement

These conditions, together with our current website prices, delivery details, contact details and privacy policy, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you by us.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The contract between us and any matter arising from or in connection with these conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.
